一、活动目的
为了提高学生学习英语的兴趣、扩大词汇量，丰富学生的校园学习生活, 拟举办Spelling Bee英语PK赛活动。
In order to enhance students’ interest in learning English, expand their vocabulary and enrich their learning life，the Second Spelling Bee contest is planned to be held.
二、参赛对象及参赛方式
参赛对象：G4-G6年级学生
Participants：students from G4to G6
参赛方式：各班进行初选，小学分别从各年级选择12名选手，G4-G6共选择36人.
Entry way：Through the preliminary contest of Spelling Bee , we choose 12 students from each grade,36 in total.
三、 比赛规程
1. 由英语老师统一出题。
English teachers set questions for the preliminary contest.
单词的检测范围为各年级所学单词。
The range is including some words from each grade.
3.初赛：从题库中各抽取若干个单词，进行笔试，挑选前36名选手，进行决赛。
Preliminary Contest: extract some words from the words list for online
testing. Finally,select thetop 36 students for the final contest.
决赛:总共分为若干小组，每个小组成员分别来自各年级；
The finals are divided into several groups,each with members from each grade.
每场比赛分为三个环节：填词、看图猜词、抢答环节
Each has three parts, including missing words, picture words and quick response.
四、比赛时间、地点
初赛：2023年5月8日-5月12日/信息教室
Preliminary contest: May 8th to May 12th,2023 / IT Room
决赛：2023年5月19日 /小学部会议室
Final contest:May 19th,2023 / Conference Room of the Primary School Department
五、奖项设置
一等奖1名，二等奖2名，三等奖3名，参与奖若干名。
One first prize; Two second prizes; Three third prizes; Several participants prizes
